The HPC Users Group was an informal gathering of users of the ILRI, Nairobi high-performance computing platform. Topics discussed included:

• HPC infrastructure organization
• Job scheduling
• Linux scripting
• Cluster best practices
• New tools

All bioinformaticians, statisticians, geo-informaticians, economists, etc were welcome. :)

We generally met the first Wednesday of the month, but sometime that slipped due to meetings, travel, etc. The meetings were held in Lab 2's Ndovu meeting room. Contact Alan Orth if you want to be notified about these meetings.
