See which versions of igsimulator are available:
<code>$ module avail igsimulator</code>

Load one version into your environment and run it:
<code>$ module load igsimulator/git-c3778b74
$ ig_simulator.py</code>

Notes from the sysadmin during installation:

<code>$ cd /tmp
$ git clone https://github.com/yana-safonova/ig_simulator.git
$ cd ig_simulator
$ scl enable devtoolset-7 bash
$ make
$ sudo mkdir -p /export/apps/igsimulator/git-c3778b74
$ sudo chown aorth /export/apps/igsimulator/git-c3778b74
$ python2 -m virtualenv /export/apps/igsimulator/git-c3778b74/venv
$ source /export/apps/igsimulator/git-c3778b74/venv/bin/activate
$ pip install --upgrade setuptools pip
$ pip install biopython matplotlib
$ ./ig_simulator.py --test
$ sudo cp -r * /export/apps/igsimulator/git-c3778b74
$ sudo chown -R root:root /export/apps/igsimulator/git-c3778b74</code>
