- install docopt—a dependency of blobtools
$ cd /tmp
$ wget https://github.com/docopt/docopt/archive/0.6.2.tar.gz
$ tar -xvf 0.6.2.tar.gz
$ cd docopt-0.6.2/
$ sudo chown -R joguya:joguya /export/apps/python/2.7.8/
$ python setup.py build
$ python setup.py install
$ sudo chown -R root:root /export/apps/python/2.7.8/

- install blobtools
$ cd /tmp
$ cd https://github.com/DRL/blobtools/archive/v0.9.19.3.tar.gz
$ tar -xvf v0.9.19.3.tar.gz
$ cd blobtools-0.9.19.3/
$ sudo mkdir -p /export/apps/blobtools/0.9.19.3/
$ sudo cp -r . /export/apps/blobtools/0.9.19.3/
