Load one version into your environment:

Notes from the sysadmin during installation:

$ wget http://genometools.org/pub/genometools-1.5.9.tar.gz
$ tar xf genometools-1.5.9.tar.gz
$ cd genometools-1.5.9
$ sudo mkdir -p /export/apps/aegean/0.16.0
$ sudo chown aorth /export/apps/aegean/0.16.0
$ make prefix=/export/apps/aegean/0.16.0
$ make prefix=/export/apps/aegean/0.16.0 install
$ cd ..
$ wget https://github.com/BrendelGroup/AEGeAn/archive/v0.16.0.tar.gz
$ tar xf v0.16.0.tar.gz
$ cd AEGeAn-0.16.0
$ make prefix=/export/apps/aegean/0.16.0
