====== HPC Users Group ======
The HPC Users Group was an informal gathering of users of the ILRI, Nairobi high-performance computing platform. Topics discussed included:

  * HPC infrastructure organization
  * Job scheduling
  * Linux scripting
  * Cluster best practices
  * New tools

All bioinformaticians, statisticians, geo-informaticians, economists, etc were welcome. :)

===== Meeting time =====

We **generally** met the first Wednesday of the month, but sometime that slipped due to meetings, travel, etc. The meetings were held in Lab 2's Ndovu meeting room. Contact [[a.orth@cgiar.org|Alan Orth]] if you want to be notified about these meetings.
