The Regional students group (RSG) East Africa and the BecA-ILRI Bioinformatics platform is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a three day course on Proteomics.
Venue and dates
The course will be held at the ILRI - Nairobi campus’ computer training room from Thursday 20th – 22nd Saturday in the month of November.
The course will comprise of lectures and practical sessions. A total of 20 participants will be selected.
Course topics
1.Protein Structure, evolution of protein structures, structure classifications.
2.Modeling by homology, fold recognition methods, fragment based methods.
3.Assessment of methods (CASP), structure to function, the human proteome.
